Macaroni KID Review: We Came for the Trucks, Stayed for the Baby Autographs
We finally visited Carlisle Truck Nationals last year after somehow missing it for more than 20 years in Central PA, which feels especially ridiculous given that I run multiple Macaroni KID sites and consider myself a highly qualified chaos connoisseur.
And now? We are kicking ourselves for not going sooner.
Monster trucks, FreestyleMX, custom vans, fire trucks, giant rigs, goody bags, and one baby who collected more autographs than anyone else in our family. This event instantly earned a permanent spot on our summer calendar.
Our biggest takeaway was simple: this is not just for gearheads. This is a full family adventure with noise, action, food, shows, vehicles, and enough visual spectacle to keep kids engaged for hours.
Would we go back? Absolutely. With ear protection, cash, snacks, sunscreen, and maybe a Sharpie in case the baby decides to continue her celebrity autograph career.
